Sweetheart is able to tailor the science show to any age group, and she was the Science Busker of choice present at every major Science Center show organised in 2010-2012, after winning the Science Busker of the year in 2009. http://www.sciencebusking.sg/page_id.php?news=165 With such extensive experience and a program endorsed by the Singapore Science Center, Sweetheart is happy to present the program which eliminates messy experiments and yet has a central theme of "Air" running through all the demonstrations involving the use of balloons, so this show is idea for 3 - 12 years old. |
Sweetheart makes Science really fun! First, Sweetheart will capture some air so that she can show all the other amazing tricks, and she does this by putting the air into a balloon. Using the balloon, she shows how air has matter and can flow into which every shape it is contained in. Next, she gets a volunteer to help her move some air, and she makes a giant lollipop fan out of just two balloons, and air is shown to move and have energy. Next, she shows how static electricity could make "magic" happen by "sticking" balloons to the walls / glass door - children volunteers get to try it too! Further to that, Sweetheart will make the volunteer's hair stand in an amazing demonstration of more static electricity! At the end of the show, she turns a balloon into a guitar and using air as a medium, makes music with just one string! Children are asked to guess how they can make a high note or a low note by adjusting the tautness of the string. | A short clip to show some of the Zany Science Show topics covered and also the presenting style.
